Scott can help you:

  • Choose the right mixer, transmitters, and packs

  • Design wired or wireless IEM systems for your lineup

  • Build scalable systems that fit your budget now and later upgrades

Wireless System Consulting (Vocals, Instruments, PA)

There are countless wireless options at every price point, and not all of them are reliable for real stages. Scott helps you choose and configure wireless systems for vocals, guitar/bass/instruments, and PA speakers based on your needs and budget.

Topics can include:

  • Choosing between entry‑level and pro systems

  • Antenna placement and RF best practices

  • Designing wireless setups for small stages vs. larger venues

Need Help with Something Else?

If your question involves live sound, rigs for touring, small‑format PA, or integrating multiple pieces of gear, Scott can often help even if it is not listed above. Send a brief description of your setup and goals to see if it is a good fit.

What People Are Saying

Scott was a great help as I worked to set up MIDI connections between a few devices (new and old) to streamline my live show process. He is patient and supportive and knowledgeable, and suggested things I hadn’t thought of that would add new capabilities to my song arrangements and performances, thanks to the newfound ability to send MIDI messages to devices on the fly. It is nice to have someone to call on personally with questions and problems! This “old dog” is feeling good to have learned some new tricks.

Scott helped my company with our training area microphone/PA system. He helped us understand all elements of the install and inter-workings of the products while saving us money and cutting our budget in half.
— Jon R.
When I was putting an in ear system together for our ZZ Top tribute band I contacted Scott Uhl to help us as a consultant. I had watched a number of his tutorial videos on YouTube that were very informative and knew he could help us. Uhl had been through the trial and error phases of building the best in ear systems and took the guess work out of what to purchase and how to configure. Scott saved us time, money and frustration! I highly recommend contacting and hiring Scott for technical consulting.
— Scott P.
I contacted Scott after watching one of his YouTube videos on wireless midi applications. I was trying to get my guitar synth to work with an iPad midi app, and no one else I spoke with, including a manufacturer’s representative and a major on-line retailer’s technician, had the answer. Scott figured it out and saved me DAYS of time and endless frustration. He’s a pleasure to work with and his services are highly recommended. I will certainly be calling on him again as the need arises.
— Chris B.
Scott has always been a pleasure to work with. His knowledge and expertise in his craft are second to none and his professionalism is greatly admired by his peers here in the Denver music scene. He really helped us put our live show backing tracks & lighting together and was easy to work with!
— Jared P.
Scott made the complicated technical and technological requirements for modern onstage sound seem simple. His recommendations and setup help have made a hugely positive impact on how we play live.
— Scott B.
Scott made learning how to program live lighting extremely easy to understand. I knew absolutely nothing about lighting, and after 2 hours I was programming my own light show!
