Scott Uhl is a Denver‑based composer creating original music for films, video games, trailers, podcasts, commercials, and jingles. He combines a background in live performance, progressive rock, and soundtracks with modern orchestral and hybrid scoring tools to deliver cinematic, emotionally engaging music for picture.

Using industry‑standard software from Native Instruments, Orchestral Tools, Spitfire Audio, Cinematic Studio Series, EastWest, Heavyocity, SoundIron, and more, Scott creates orchestral, hybrid, and electronic scores in a wide range of styles.
Scott’s submission to the Westworld Scoring Competition 2020 (Spitfire Audio / HBO) involved composing a completely new score for a full scene from one of his favorite shows, blending tension, texture, and theme around the existing dialogue and sound effects.

Score for the short film Hope, selected for the “Best Of” screening and winner of “Best Use of Prop” and “Best Special Effects” at the Denver 48‑Hour Film Project.

Scott’s first film score experiment, later re‑written and adapted into a piece for his solo project Spiral Cell.
