Scott Uhl is a versatile touring guitarist, multi‑instrumentalist, and music technology professional based in Denver, Colorado. He has built a career as a reliable “hired gun” and creative collaborator for artists and bands who need a seasoned player on stage and in the studio.​

Scott’s musical journey began at 16 when a friend convinced him to take a high school guitar class. Captivated, he went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business from the University of Colorado Denver and has been performing, recording, and touring ever since.​

As a live musician, Scott has toured extensively across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Central America, performing for diverse audiences around the world. His resume includes performances at renowned Denver venues such as The Ogden Theatre, The Bluebird Theater, Gothic Theatre, The Fillmore Auditorium, and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater.​

On stage, Scott is known for his guitar work, musical adaptability, and professionalism. He comfortably covers rhythm and lead guitar, acoustic and electric textures, and additional instruments such as bass, banjo, and keys, making him an ideal utility player for touring acts and live shows that demand flexibility.​

Beyond live performance, Scott is an experienced studio musician, composer, and producer. He has self‑produced albums, contributed to numerous recording projects, and composes and scores for film and media. His progressive, soundtrack‑inspired one‑man‑band project Spiral Cell showcases his live looping and multi‑instrumental approach, creating a full‑band sound from a single performer.​

Scott’s work in the music technology and production world extends to programming stage lighting, video, and live show systems for artists and events. He has built and programmed full live rigs with synchronized lighting, backing tracks, and audio setups, and he shares much of this expertise on his YouTube channel, which has amassed over 150,000 subscribers.​

Recognized for his skills and contributions to the Denver music scene, Scott was named one of the Top 10 Best Guitarists in Denver by Westword Magazine in 2016. Today, he continues to balance touring work, studio sessions, and music tech consulting while remaining a go‑to hired gun for national and international acts.
